The Otago Secondary Schools Athletics Championships return to the Caledonian Ground, Dunedin, on 13 & 14 March 2026, bringing together athletes from across the region for two days of high‑energy competition across the full track and field programme

Event Details

• Event Dates: Friday 13th – Saturday 14th March 2026
• Venue: Caledonian Ground, Dunedin  
• Entries Open : Week of 2nd of Feb 2026 
• Entries Close: Wed 4th March, 4pm

Entry Details

• Entry Method: All entries must be submitted through your school sports coordinator 
• Eligibility: Open to Year 9–13 students across the Otago region
• Event Programme: Full athletics schedule, including sprints, middle distance, hurdles, jumps, throws, relays, and para‑athletics.

Age Groups

• Age now taken from the 31^st of December in the year of competition NOT the 1^st of January as years previous.
• The age groups now consist of the following U15, U16. U17 & U20
• Selected Open Events will be listed as Under 17 and Under 20
