Websites Dunedin SS Weekly Competition Water Polo is played in the summer season at Moana Pool.
The draw is undertaken by OSSSA and the night is supervised by an OWP
representative. Sets of caps have been purchased by the OSSSA & OWP
and are available for use at the pool. OWP provides pool space and
match balls. Playing Times Wednesday - Competition from 6.10pm. Competition Format Round Robin & Finals if time permits. Senior Boys
& Girls cups played for in Term 1. Length of Season Usually a 7 or 8 week season. Term 1 2006, Wednesday
22nd February until Wednesday 5th April. Term 3 & 4 2006, Open
grade from Wednesday 13th September until Wednesday 1st November, then
Junior only section (incl Intermediate schools) from Wednesday 8th
November until Wednesday 6th December. Fixture Duration Times Games take about 30mins to play. This can result in the last games finishing at 8.45pm if ten teams entered. Costs $50 per team. This money goes to OWP for use of gear and their organisation. Normal charges apply for players to enter Moana Pool. Draws Draws faxed to schools and also on www.osssa.org.nz South Island Events 24th - 26th March 2006 in Christchurch. Entry forms are sent out through RSDs.
