Websites Volleyball NZ Dunedin SS Weekly Competition The Otago Secondary Schools Volleyball Association works with the OSSSA RSD to organise secondary school volleyball in Dunedin. Playing Times Senior Boys and Girls play Monday nights and all other grades are played on Fridays. No games are played on the Fridays of long weekends. All games are now held at the Edgar Sports Centre (court space permitting). Competition Format Round Robin. Length of Season Senior Volleyball: Term 1 2006, Monday 13 February - Monday 10 April 2006 All other grades: Term 1 2006, Friday 17 February - Friday 7 April 2006 Fixture Duration Times Games are allocated 45min or 60min games. Costs Teams are charged a competition entry fee of $40. In addition each player must pay a weekly door charge ($2) at the Edgar Centre for venue hire. A $20 default fee is charged against teams that do not give sufficient notice to their opposition. This is credited to the opposition team(s). An account is sent out at the end of term one and again at the end of the year covering credits and costs for weekly volleyball and local tournaments.Draws A weekly draw is faxed out each week and also available on the OSSSA website.
