Websites NZ Soccer Dunedin Weekly SS Competition The OSSSA, in co-operation with Soccer Otago, organises a midweek competition. This allows players to also play for clubs on Saturdays. Playing Times Wednesdays - starting at 4pm. The venues are anywhere in Dunedin (if South Otago HS enter some games are played in Balclutha). Competition Format Depending on the number of entries - round robin, semi's and final. Length of Season Dates 2006 - 10th May until 9th August. No games during the school holidays. 13 week season ending one week before Winter Tournament Week (week commencing Monday 14th August 2006) Fixture Duration Times Playing 35min each way if it is not too dark. Costs Schools will be invoiced $50 plus GST per team by Soccer Otago. Draw A weekly draw is emailed out each week and also available on the OSSSA website. Inter-schools For grounds contact Ross Huntley NOT the DCC. Regional, South Island and National Events Entry forms are distributed by the NZSS Soccer Association, which is currently based in Auckland. Regional eliminations are held to find qualifiers for the Lotto Premier & Jim Wishart tournaments. A number of satellite tournaments are held around the country and these are open entry. All of these tournaments take place during Winter Tournament Week (week commencing Monday 14th August 2006). Entries for the two top tournaments (Lotto and Jim Wishart) are required much earlier than for the satellite tournaments.
